ABS Filament Printing Troubleshooting: Insufficient Strength ABS
A print by abs filament but doesn't haven't the needed strength. As you can see in the picture, the print is weak.
The picture shows an insufficient strength of a printed abs object, possible root cause could be insufficient printing temperature.
A 3D printer prints layer by layer, a hot layer melts, and bonds to the previous layer, so the temperature control is important, which directly affects bonding between layers. As for the main reason that causes insufficient temperature should be airflow of a cooling fan. We suggest that you block any cooling airflow directed at the printed layer to allow it to cool slower and hence help layer bonding.
Tips for printing ABS filament
1. An enclosed 3d printer
2. Block any cooling airflow directed at the printed layer.
